Ziang Liu
Associate Professor, Ph.D.
About
I work on operations research, optimization, and machine learning — algorithms that let complex systems decide for themselves, in settings where the environment is uncertain and the decision has to be made anyway. Most of the applications come from inventory, manufacturing, and supply chains.
I received my Ph.D. in Engineering from Osaka University in 2021, and was an Assistant Professor at Okayama University before joining Hosei in April 2025.
